Radeon 9600 compatibility ques.

Does ASUS P4GE-MX (AGP4x) work with a Radeon 9600 pro (256mb AGP8x)? Cause i asked a technician and said that the card hangs when put on an AGP4x motherboard.

This is the only card i can afford thats why im asking this.

Are you overclocking. If so you want the best of all components, or something may hang.
