Radeon 9600 problem

I have some problems with my Radeon 9600 XT Edition.
I got new pc at christmas and i took from my old just hard drive and graphic card that is radeon 9600. i downloaded and installed lates drivers from ATI to it, i have directx 9.0 c.
Problem is that when i play Flatout 2 sometimes it just stucks and after few moments goes to menu and then works fine again. I also tried Faces of War and sometimes after mission cinematic mini-map and some of the upper part of the screen gets their colors all messed up. I haven't yet tried any other games.
Do you know what could be wrong and could you provide some help...

Game requirements

Does you system meet theirs ? Like maybe AGP 8x .
This requires the right motherboard and video card.Mine and your 9600 does.
My mbd does,does yours if thats a requirement.?
Get the latest Catalyst drivers.
Do a dxdiag check for al 3 enabled in video tab.

i played FoW and it got messed up so i saved game and FoW takes screenshot everytime you save and this is what my screen looked like when it got messed up. dunno does it help to identify what is matter with my pc tough...
