Radeon X1650 issue: Purple Haze!

Hey guys

I just built up a new machine, and after a few mobo-related issues i've got it booting up fine into a fresh Windows install. My issue is that the display has a constant purple tinge, as if all the whites are replaced with magenta. This affects everything from the BIOS right into Windows. I have the latest BIOS updates and all the latest drivers for everything involved, and the monitor in question works fine on my other machine (unfortunately i don't have a 2nd monitor to try on this box). Anyone know how i might solve this?

I used to have fun playing with the pins on a d-sub it get only red, green, blue, etc... colors. So that would have been my guess is that the moniter cable got screwed up but since it works on another computer that couldn't be the problem. I once bought a HIS turbo IceQ Radeon x1300 once that gave me all kinds of lock-ups and weird colors my guess is that you still have some unresolved modo issues.
