Random Black Screen While Gaming/Surfing

Hi guys, girlfriend is having problems with her pc.

Specs
intel 3.2ghz
1 gig ddr 2 667mhz
1 x radeon1650 pro 512mb pci-e c
80 gig hard drive
17 inch monitor

problem - random black screen while gaming/surfing crashes/error message/blue screens of death - none

memtest ran overnight - no errors found.

All drivers are up to date and running the latest versions.

Nothing on the pc is over clocked.

Using asus pc probe, volts seem to be reasonably stable, staying at or just above where they should be.

Cpu temps are seem fine, as do graphic card temps.

Legal copy of windows, all up to date.

Pc never crashes, or games with any specific errors, just the black screen problem a few times a day.

Help appreciated, if you need anymore info just ask.

Check vid card is firmly seated and cabling completely connected.

Check vid fan is working if equipped (Everest Home will give a temp reading using the Sensor query - http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4181.html

Ok will do, i have also just updated the graphics card drivers to catalyst 8.1's. Ill report back in a day or so with my results.

BTW the x1650 doesnt have any power cables, its not strong enough to need them lol !
