This is my problem, couple of months ago, i did this daisy chain thingy with 1 of my routers plus a VOIP. So here i wanted to do the flip side and have my DHCP on my VOIP to be off and the one on my router to be on.

But my router one is off, and so when i try to recative it or try to log on to my router i can't. I checked ipconfi in the cmp. but it generated a random ip, cause DHCP is not on my router.

So heres my question how do i turn in on again?

You will have to unplug it from the network, and connect directly to it. Then set everything up on your router. Then disable everything on your VOIP. Plug everything back together and should be good to go.

The thing is i can't log into my router even if the ethernet cabele coming from the cable modem, is directley connected to the WAN port on my router. The reason is the router is not generating a ip, but a random one. When i type the random one to connect to the router it won't go in. This was found in cmp.

cable thus: modem-->system (ie ignore the router for now)
the run->cmd /k ipconfig /all

you should have a public ip address and the gateway + DNS should belong to
your ISP.

now cable: router-->system (notice NO MODEM CONNECTION)
rerun cmd /k ipconfig /all
if DHCP is off in the router, then you will have almost nothing set,
so hold the reset switch 30sec to reset the router.

your ipconfig should now show a private address like 192.168.*.*
