READ: moh pacific assault. help!

i really need help please someone. i put the Medal of Honour Pacific Assault disk in then close it and doesnt load at all. i have no clue why it doesnt come up with the install screen. i also try running the program from My Computer and the control panel but both of them make my pc freeze.

First off we need some more info. Please list your PCs specs. Also, have yo made any recent hardware or software changes? Is this a legal copy of the game (just gotta be sure)

Does the drive work with any other disks? Or does it not read anything at all?

i havent made any changes. i've downloaded all the components i need. i had the same problem with allied assault, downloaded the components and it worked. i dont know whats going on.
