Reading Minidump to work out problem

Hi Guys,

Our Windows 2k3 server seems to be having trouble with blue screen crashes. Event Logs reveal the following entries at every occurance;

Error Category: None Event ID: 6008
The previous system shutdown at 1:33:54 AM on 6/07/2007 was unexpected.

Error Category: (102) Event ID: 1003
Error code 000000d1, parameter1 00000010, parameter2 00000008, parameter3 00000001, parameter4 f74da654.

Based on the times that these errors are occuring it is related directly to when the servers Microsoft Backup routine is running. This backup routine creates the backup using shadow copy and then stores the backup on a network location. As suspected the server does do a Save Dump (1001). When the error occurs.


I know you can work out the cause using the mini dump's that are created. However, I have no idea how to do this. Attached are the mini dumps from the occurances... any help would be appreciated.

Every one of your minidumps point to the same thing: inic162x.sys which is a Miniport driver for XP, 2003 Server, and earlier Windows OS. Check out the following link. It might add more clarity for you:
