Improved device support, security and new graphical tools make Red Hat Linux 7.3 the platform of choice for your technical workstation or server.

You can download the Red Hat Linux operating system for free from ftp.redhat.com. To access ftp.redhat.com, log in as 'anonymous' and use your email address for the password. Our FTP servers stay pretty busy, as Red Hat Linux 7.3 contains more than 1000 RPMs taking up more than 900 MB. If you cannot connect to the Red Hat FTP server or simply want a site closer to your location, try of the many mirror sites around the world. Or, you can buy the product and have it sent to your doorstep.

The server I am using must be busy its gone down to 10kbps... :(

Its probably best to get yourself a list of servers and then try different ones at different times. A good ftp client like smartftp ( www.smartftp.com ) will allow you to resume, even from different servers...

I finally got hold of the three iso files yesterday and burned the CDs. Installation was easy and presented no problems. I decided to nuke my existing Red Hat Installation.
