Reformatting Problem for XP

My friend gave me a computer a while back and i went to go reformat it but i ran into a problem

whenever windows starts to install it just suddenly stops at Installing Network ... funny thing is that its still running it hasnt froze cause the 5 dots on the bottom right page keeps running

if anyone know what might be the problem please help me out lol

For your guideline.

Perform the FULL NTFS format to solve this most problems.

When the setup hangs, with the dots still running, try to press ESC, ENTER or Space... probably having some hidden errors.

If this is not working, you need to run the MemTest86 to vertify that your RAM is in good shape.
