Hi guys.

This register tweak promise that windows stop asking me, if I want to instll unsigned (my M$) drivers:

REGEDIT4

;stop asking for installing a unsigned drivers - most of them are unsigned anyway
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Driver Signing]
"Policy"=hex:00

The problem. It does not work for me there, Win 2000 SP4 Czech. Anyone is getting any wild ideas why this might be? And how to change it/improve it to work on Win2k?
(IIRC it did not worked on WinXP SP 1.0a anyway...)

Rightclick my computer > Properties > Hardware > Driver Signing >

Select "Ignore"

Now if you really want to see what reg key it changes there are many apps for that, search google for registry monitor or something similar, then do a scan before and after and you will know which key it changes

Thanks, that usualy helps.
Register tweak is more convinient, tough.
Another way is using gpedit.msc - great for disabling Active Desktop, but the driver signing messages settings did not work from it... unless they are also changed in the main pannel...
