Registry Entries - Video Card Tweaks

I'm looking for some links that discuss/disclose the location of nVidia, OpenGL and DirectX settings in the registry.

I'd like to know what keys that the video card tweak programs alter.

Here is something that might be of interest to you:

http://guru3d.com/geforcetweakutility/index.html

What registry keys does the GeforceTweak use to modify the driver settings?
Win9x\ME:
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\NVIDIA Corporation"
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\
Class\Display"
Win2000:
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\
nv4\"
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\NVTweak"
WinXP:
Under WinXP the keys are different on each pc (as I know yet). Simply try to search the registry for the entry "FSAAQuality". If it cannot be found, tweak the FSAA settings and repeat the search.
When you use non-NVidia drivers the kegkeys will be a little bit different.

It seems that most of the Nvidia settings are in the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\NVIDIA Corporation folder in your registry. I would look here for the OpenGL and DirectX settings also, although I'm not exactly sure they're there. I'll do some more looking and get back to you. :)

Another thing that might interest you is the 3DS GeForce Tweak Guide found here:

One last thing, exactly what video card are you using?

Hope this helps!!!

jus use... GF tweak.. or RIvatuner.. or NVmax

all give u the same results as tweaking the registry on ur own... with lesser risks

I wouldnt advise using NVMAX as its no longer supported anymore. Rivatuner works well for me, GTU is good but the overclocking feature in it is screwed.
