Hey yall, first post here so I hope i'm on the right category for this.

I'm an IT for several small companies throughout the city, we're sort of the outsourced IT company for companies too small to have their own department.

anyway... I'm having an ongoing issue with an HP photosmart 3210 All in one that is about to drive me insane. I have worked with HP 4 times on this issue and they insist that its my computer and the drivers.

I agree with them that it is a driver problem as I just recently read a similar error message to what I have here on the site. Their error pointed to bad nic driver, but I beleive this one is probablly going to come back to a usb driver relating to the printer.

Heres my latest error message:

The computer reboots when it tries to print, or randomly whenever it decides to ping the printer for any reason. This does not happen every time and seems to be limited to quickbooks printintg. I have used HP's Cd to uninstall and re-instrall as well as using the drivers off the website, although I have not performed a "manual uninstall" as I cannot find the documentation for it. the HP guy said he'd email it to me but I was right in the middle of the vista RC1 trial on my computer so that email address is down (my bad shoulda gave him another email)

thanks for anything you can give me! I know the customer is getting very unhappy with this ongoing issue!

Welcome to TechSpot

The model seems to have networking capabilities, does it crash the same way when it's plugged to the network?

ya know it's interesting you say that, my boss said the same thing. I didnt have the hardware with me at the time to try that but I would assume the result woul dbe the same if it is a driver problem yes?
