RioPort Audio Manager problems

I own a Rio 500 which is good however recently purchased a memory card (128MB SmartMedia) to give me some more space to store songs. However in the Memory bar I am unable to select External Memory to download songs to that part of my player. I am stuck with Internal Flash Memory and do not know how to change it to allow me to put songs on my memory card. Does anyone own Rioport Audio Manager and know how to change it? Is it that it does not recognise the memory card? Thanx a lot!
