"network works fine" means what?

1) means what?
2) means what?
3) means what?

What did you connect where and how did you configure everything? What speed went down where? How do you log into msn? "Cannot" means what?

both computers work fine, both sharing internet connection and i can browse the internet on both of them; verything hooked up right, but some stuff that bother me:
1) My speed went down
2) When i trying to log into MSN, i says that INTERNET CABLE IS UNPLUGGED, and reouter restarting itself
3) Non of BitTorrent files work, i cannot even connect to the tracker; it just stays in "CONNECTING TO TRACKER" all day long, but torrent file is working ...

i log into msn regular way, download the program and log in ....

OK.

"sharing internet connection"? You shouldn't have any internet connection sharing things active on any of your computers. You also shouldn't be establishing any kind of internet connections from your computer - all you should have in the network properties is the "Local Area Connection" and perhaps some other unused ones. Did you hook up the router correctly? The cable from your modem goes into the WAN port.

Still needs more information..

What kind of internet connection do you have?
What sort of a router is it?
What settings did you change in the router configuration?
How did you set up the computers?

What does "speed went down" mean? Things seem to be downloading slower?

Welcome

network is messed up and you are generating traffic that slows dwn incoming
reconfig all your nics
torrent need upnp enable in router plus you have to open up torrent ports 6881 to 6999 on router
you should go to linksys website for a better understanding of networking
and or the router manufactors website 3com / d-link how ever.
msn needs to see certificates authenticate you
something is blocking
GOOGLIZE your browser hahha
that is to say use the best discription you can in the lest amount of words as you can do google search
if anymore questions about network break it down
like just start with network slow help
next can't get msn messenger help
and so on fixing one at a time is best
