im trying to set up raid on my computer. and i put in the windows cd, restart and press f6 to load up the sata drivers. i then press S to actually install the drivers off a floppy it gives me this error "an unexpected error (0) occurred at line 962 in d;/nt/private/ntos/boot/setup/oemdisk.c." wth does this mean.

With my sata

With mine I had to use a fresh floppy and make sure it wasn't
bootable.(though I'm not sure if sys files make a diff)
Also check for any newer sata drivers @ your MoBo site.

at the time i didnt even have a floppy in the drive. later on i actually unplugged the drive altogether.

Ok....

then that makes sense.

You'll need to look on the cd that came with MoBo for
sata drivers or get them from MoBo mfg site.
Boot to your windows cd and after you press f6 you need to supply win x,
x= (which ver of windows?)
with the drivers on a floppy. When you press S windows
will look to your floppy drive, by default for the drivers needed. :hotbounce
