Screen Will not show anything when is booted

Hi,
I know there are another threads that fall under the same category as my problem, but none of them actually solved my problem. Anyway right now i have a HP Pavilion MX703 monitor... My computer specs are:
Intel Pentium 4 3.0GHZ <---- Got it just today
Asus LGA775 motherboard <----- got it like 2 weeks ago
Radeon Sapphire 256MB
512MB RAM

I plugged everything in correctly and I don't think it is a problem with my motherboard or the CPU since they are newly bought and they are running well.
