I have previously had a network connection for my pc that connects to the internet through my laptop which has a wireless internet card and i just pick up a signal around the area. I had it working before and i don't know what caused it to fail. but now i get limited or no connectivity when i plug in my ethernet cord between the 2 computers. My laptop sais its connected properly and are no errors on the icon, the PC has the error. I have tried repair, it freases then sais "windows could not finish repairing the problem because the following action cannot be completed: renewing your IP address." I made sure IP address and DSN server were set to auto, I am out of ideas. Please help.
