I have a Gateway MT6821 that came loaded with vista, I am trying to take vista off by way of formating the hard drive and loading XP. I boot to cd, xp loades set up drivers and enters setup. When I press enter to install fresh copy of xp it says that "Setup did not find any hard disk drives installed in your computer".
when I hit F3 and let machine reboot it boots to vista.
I have tried xp pro, xp home, xp student edition, and nothing works. It was sugested that I might be using an upgrade version of xp, that is why I tried all the above. they are oem.
Any help would be appreciated...
