  1. Greetings everyone,

my name is Sebastian and i am from Germany. A friend just forwarded me to your IT Board as you have some experienced and knowledged IT people, and hopefully you can help me out with my problem.

    Background story:
I bought a new Machine about 2 weeks ago, i had a computer store build it. I just chose the hardware, they put the components together.

    My machine:
    Mainboard: Gigabyte P35 DS4
    CPU: Intel Core2Duo E6850 2 x 3.0 GHZ
    MEM: 4 x 1 gigabyte Corsair PC-800
HDD: 2x 320 GB Western Digital Caviar (Raid 0)
    Graphic: Geforce 8800GTX 768 MB
Power supply: Tagan Easycon XL 500W
    CPU fan: Zalman CNPS9700CU
    1x DVD-Writer Samsung S-ATA SG-S183L
    1x DVD 16x/48x S-ATA Samsung SH-D163A

I am using Windows XP Prof. Service Pack 2 which is up to date with patches and updates.

Everything worked fine for the first days, then i started getting weird crashed. First a blue screen which was followed a half second later by a reboot. The bluescreen is gone so fast that i am not able to write anything down. But as soon as Windows restart it gives me an error msg.

    Please see the following picture:

It usually only happens while playing a game which needs good hardware with lots of 3D stuff. Thats why i bought this machine, to play the newest 3D hits fluently. Meanwhile i had more crashes and i wrote down all different error messages:

Like ive said, i am absolutaly clueless whats wrong here. Crashes are only occuring while playing. All drivers are up to date and i cant think if anything else that i could test. If anyone if you has any ideas please share them with me.

    Thank you for reading,

Post some minidump files. Look in c:\windows\minidump. You can attach 5 at a time in dmp file format. It does look to be a RAM problem though (bugcheck 7f).

i was able to play for 20 minuts again, then my game crashed again. But this time no bluescreen, the application got shut down and i was kicked to desktop.

Here are all 5 Minidump files:

Hope you can see whats wrong.

See if Memtest shows anything. One of the dumps has crashed with memory corruption.

    BugCheck 10000050, {f0a03d7c, 0, 8050525f, 2}
Probably caused by : memory_corruption ( nt!MiLocateAndReserveWsle+51 ) <-- I've seen crashing at this routine turn out to be a RAM problem on a number of occasions.

    Thanks for the reply mate,

i gave the PC back to where i bought it, as this problem is hardware based and theres not much i can do. Its been 3 days, so im going to check if its repaired meanwhile and will let you know what they found.
