Hi All

Tell me; is the use of Skype a security problem with corporate LANs? What ports should I open for out bound traffic?

many companies tightly control bandwidth and ports. You will need to contact your system administrator to see if this is allowed and if so, what ports need to be opened.

No one here will know unless they happen to work for your company. Also some companies have a policy against using corporate bandwidth for personal use. This can be considered theft of company property and is grounds for termination. Ask first.

I am the systems Administrator and I would like to know is the use of Skype a security problem with corporate LANs? What ports should I open for out bound traffic on my firewall?
