Socket 370 Celeron??

  1. I just got this socket 370 600mhz CPU and Mother board,,it doesnt say Pentium III but is it a P3?? or is it considerd just a socket 370 Pentium??
    i have read alot about the possible speed i can achieve in overclocking it,,i just want to be shure.

    It is either a CuMine P3 or a CuMine Celeron ( the Mendocino core reached 500mhz max if I'm not mistaken ).

    If you have the system up & running try using a program like CPUID or CPU-Z & see what information you get ( P3s have 256kb of L2 cache & the Celeron has 128kb ).

    I think you are in error, sir. Mendocino Celerons were available at 533 MHz too.
