some info plz

I have a 16mb voodoo3 pci video card, and on an online game that I play, I cannot get any light effects. Any info would be helpful. And any pointers, suggestions and advice about this card would be very helpful and appreciated.Don't know if you need my computers specs, but I'll give them anyways.

500mhz celeron processor
me-99v ASUS motherboard
128 sdram

Any other info you may need to help me, plz let me know and I'll post. Oh yea, I'm using DirectX 8.0

It might have been an idea to include what game you are talking about, so that others that have played, using similar cards, can comment. Most likely your graphics card doesn't support some of the features required.

Even if your card does support ligthning effects, its gonna be hell a lot slower. From time to time, there would be severe drops in FPS. Do keep in mind that your running a PCI card.

I deal with 3dfx cards quite a bit.

Give me a bit of info.

- OS being used
- Any unique patches applies
- Game in question
- Driver you are using for the video card
