Some viruses.

I have a few background programs running and I don't know what to do about them. They are ishost.exe, issearch.exe, isnotify.exe, and ismini.exe. They are running in the background and I can't end their processes. I also get tons of popups and it's becoming really annoying. Any advice?

Get AOL ACTIVE VIRUS SHIELD and Zerospyware Free Edition. That should do the trick.

We`ll soon get rid of the nasties for you.

Go and read the Trojan Pakes and other nasties preliminary removal instructions. Follow all the instructions exactly.

Post fresh HJT and AVG Antispyware logs as attachments into this thread, only after doing the above.
