If you can help please do cause this is driving me crazy!
My computer was fine before i had to change my motherboard cause of AGP problems, so i installed the new motherboard and all seemed fine, that is untill i tried to write a dvd.
My DVD-RW (PIONEER DVD-RW DVR-109) drive reads cd's and dvd's but won't write to both cd and dvd. I've changed the IDE cable, updated the driver, used Nero to create a dvd (it kept saying "please insert blank cd") and used windows xp homes own cd/dvd writing method (copy, paste then selecting "write files to disk" basically) and none of these things have made a difference.
Also, when i put my usb flash drive in a usb port, the computer restarts. I did accidently fdisk the drive a while back deleating the partition but i sorted that out on my laptop, it works on my laptop fine but not on my desktop. strange...?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
