We have a Sony DSC-P51 digital camera and a while ago we bought a 128mb memory tick for it (the two 16mb ones were just too small).
It disapeared for a bit but when we found it again, it wasn't working properly. When you look at the pictures on the camera, some of them work, but most of them start to show up but then say "File Error". I can take new pictures and look at them, but when i plug it into the computer, only the first 4 files have thumbnails and i can't copy them to my hard drive. When i try to copy it says "cannot read from source file or disk". I'm reading the card through the camera, connected by usb, but even when we put it in the card reader on the laptop it still does the same thing.
Will i need to format it or is there anything i can do to fix it?
