i recently had to reinstall windows xp back on my compaq pesario 6000..but when all was done and it was up and running..my sound was no longer ther..if ther is anyone out there that could help me by tellling me what sound card is installed in this type of pc and where i can find the driver to install it back..that would be of great help to me..thank you in advanced slimgirlz72
You perhaps need to install the sound drivers from the www.hp.com site, and perhaps other downloads, by entering your Persario model, then downloading all the drivers and updates.
You will also need to install all the Microsoft updates, using Internet Explorer 7.0 from the www.microsoft.com site.
