While waiting for your email to arrive so I could complete my registration, I started reading the troubles other members were having. One post directed members to Realtek AC97 programs and so I downloaded update drivers for an audio trouble which has bugged me for over a year. When ever on line with Juno, my audio ran at 1/4 speed. I could play an audio CD perfectly until I connected to Juno. The CD would then be playing at 1/4 speed until I dumped Juno. This lead all the great minds I have talked to for over a year to believe I had a Juno problem or a weak sound card but I have an older Gateway upstairs, running and connecting to Juno and this condition never occurrs. After installing AC97 program on my main computer , all audio was enhanced and normal.
My old sound Nvidia n Force driver ran 5.10.2917.0 and now Realtek has given me 5.10.5970.0 and because I found Techspot, my troubles are gone.
