Sound problems.

I have recently got a new computer with a new sound card the program i use to edit the sonds is:

Please help i can get everything working e.g effects to the what the sound sounds like and stuff it all works threw the my 2.1 Speakers. But when i use my headset for gaming it doesnt pick up the headset threw the program and i carnty edit the effects or anything like i can when i use my Speakers.

Problem= How can i get realtek HD audio manger to pic up my Logitech headset. please help! what do i do?

Your headphones need to be plugged into the soundcard - not other headphone sockets that are usually available. Also, if your speakers have a headphone jack, use that instead.

is your logitech headset using the normal 3.5mm plugs (like headphones plugs) or a USB connector?
