Soundcard/Headset Problem

Hi
I have a soundblaster Sound card installed into my Comp
I've just Bought a USB headset
I can only get sound coming out of headset or speakers not both at the same time is there any way I can have sound coming through Headset and Speakers

Unfortunately, I've never dealt with this sort of thing. It is probably a setting in the software for the headset to automatically disable alternate sound devices when it is plugged in. Can you provide a model of the headset? You may wish to contact them to verify both can play sound at the same time.

The headset is a Logitech® Premium Stereo USB Headset 30
I have to change sound setting to use Headset or Speakers via sound card in the sound setting/Audio tab and then that's the default sound output device just seems strange that I can't get it to run 2 sound devices

A USB headset is an extra audio device. You should be able to kinda get around this with certain software, e.g. if you use the Foobar media player you can specify what Soundcard to use for playing audio, i.e. the USB headset or your Soundcard (Which will play on your Speakers)

I use headset all the time i want to do this so my daughter who's 4 dosn't need to put the headset on when Daddy forgets to change devices.
