They have to hide my comments because my comments carry weight and they know it. they know I can prove everything I say.. yup wait for that star citizen to come in the 5 to 10 more years. lol

I wonder if CIg will gift at 400 million? yea know a cool shader for a promise lol

when did the 890 jump come out? how long is their refund policy? 890 jump deliver 5 years later and isn't the ship promised at the 28th million chairman's page.

But yea know just hide my comments LOL

heck 10 years later there are no games. no sq42 and there is no MMO.

legally star citizen isn't a game it is alpha by CIg's own words.

everyone on star citizen spectrum knows I can prove my points when I make comment. Reddit is a cult the best words I can describe it.

China protecting its own from people like Chris Roberts. Where are western governments at? where is my government at?

I am sure the legal system will fail gamers because there will be no money in it for lawyers if star citizen fails or chris Roberts runs off with the cash.

If you don't get what you buy then it's a scam. "Pledge" or not.
The bloke has received it and there’s nothing wrong with it either.

The issue is he believes his pledge should be the I-win ship that can do everything/anything over and above any other ship - when it was never concepted as that - and even if so, concepts are marked as subject to change and in active development. So he really has no excuse

Gaming is no longer a fun hobby. gaming today is just a cash grab. The reason companies like Bioware are no longer around is because gaming has to turn into a cash grab, not a fun hobby for the consumer.

Back to star citizen 5 to 10 more years before star citizen comes out. SQ42 maybe 2 more years plus. I am done waiting, the game devs along with the new community changed my exploration ship to a party boat, role-playing ship, or a passenger transport ship. I don't see any of those words on the 28th million chairman's page. I believe CIg removed the star citizen archives because they knew there would be people like self looking for dev quotes there. to prove my points.

anyway have a nice life. time for me to get a better hobby. star citizen is a wake-up call.

Derek smart is a hero. I gave Chris Roberts a chance and he lied to me. He broke his promise. I let my love basis for space blind me by following follow a lair and a lie. I was wrong now I learn from it.

When the ship is marketed as one thing and they deliver another then it's not the ship he paid for, right? That's not an excuse. I read the comment thread linked and it's pretty clear to me. He was literally attacked by a pack of raging fanboys for something he was right to be angry about.

If he pledged for a finalised product, then absolutely, yes - his argument has validity. But he didnt. He pledged for a concept, that he agreed on checkout was subject to change and that he accepted knowing that. It's also caveated throughout all the material too.

But that's by the by; he wasn't sold something he didnt get. He's decided to theorycraft his own perception of what it should do.

Now - if the bloke really wanted the ship that was first concepted in exact details....then it would be half the size, would have corridors that were not scaled properly to the character metrics, and would frankly be unusable; the ship concept layout/model was from a much earlier time in SC's development, when that wasn't considered during initial concept planning. So lets honest - he's always going to find something to whine about.

And just to clarify - none of the guys on the other thread other than myself are SC fanboys.

And there in lies the problem. SC is selling "concepts" as "products" and people assume the marketing used when they buy something to be the product they will receive. This is 100% the fault of SC.

They're not selling products. They're offering pledge rewards for backing the game, which is clear at every moment. And 'assumption' isn't the responsibility of a seller, if they're make it clear that they're not products.

What CaptSnuggles means by a pledge is a donation masked as a pledge.

a pledge is legally a contract or this case a promise and has taxes on it because you are purchasing a promise of service or product.

donations on the other hand don't get taxed

I believe star citizen TOS does not hold water in the EU or Canada with laws. Either way, I was cheated and mislead about products I own. I don't have any games either from CIG. legally star citizen isn't a game it is alpha product after 10 years.

CIg's adverting point blank calls the 890 jump for example an exploration ship. it is also a 28th chair letter promise that cam before brochure. That is why I am was hunting for the old star citizen forums and was about the star archives. Ben himself said the 890 jump in Ben's own words 890 jump was to like Idris but fancy.

I have even gotten into the fact the 890 jump was to be very limited and rare. ship or digital item. Citizen mods were giving me hard time until I start showing them picture proof.

No, I didn't mean that at all. Please dont try to assume my statements, when you failed to understand what you've backed.

At that point of pledge, you agreed that CIG have your agreement for it to change/vary from the concept shown.

The legals on that are pretty black and white...

And you weren't cheated. You just failed to read.

And the 890J is an exploration ship and falls under the subcategory of touring.

And it is a rare ship; only a few hundred are available each year, versus other ships that are unlimited.

Ok, captSnuggles what does pledge mean legally define the word pledge for me? Why are star citizenships have taxes on them? I have looked up the word pledge and post on it many threads and websites to back my comments and claims! I don't say something or make comments unless I can prove of it or have sources to site from. what do you mean by pledge?

28th million chairman's letter says exploration ship!

It does not say a party boat
It does not say a transport ship
it does not say a useless ship
it does not say a roleplaying ship
It does not say curse liner

I dont need to define anything; you've failed to understand what you've spent your money on SEVEN YEARS AGO, and you're now regretting it and demanding someone pays you for it.

As a reminder:
- You've previously demand I pay you back (despite just being a fellow backer)

- You've tried to hold forum moderators as witnesses/complicit to some illegal activity and freedom of speech spiel (for banning you and moderating your rants)

- You've insinuated I've cyberstalked you, when you actively tag and bring me into conversations for no reason.

As I've said to you many times when you've engaged with me; your money has been spent already - it paid someones salary 6-7 years ago, and you have no recourse.

You pledged for a fluid reward, which was covered within the legal terms that accompanied the transaction. Your failure to read and understand that is your error, and no one elses, however upsetting that may be for you.

As mentioned before - I recommend you accept that, and focus your energies elsewhere. This is incredibly unhealthy.

I have to say... this has been a read and a half. I can't argue with Capt.Snuggles.

I mean, from what I understand of the project... they list in multiple places that everything is subject to change. I also struggle to see how the definition of the ships role stops you using the ship that way? If you want to explore... explore.
Reading up on the ship in question it seems you can carry an array of vehicles within... and providing you have a crew... it can defend itself.

As a luxury liner... thats not a bad thing to own at all?

I'm struggling to see what all the fuss is about?

Well, I am done here. I am the paying consumer I was lead period!

I have no games after 10 years period!

For me, star citizen is a scam I don't want to chase about all over the internet for my views.

you didn't have to do anything your right!

there are many people on the spectrum agreeing with me and confessions I am right! so who is the lair?

I was misled period! the marketing was misleading as well comments from early game devs.

I don't get what time has abything to do with this. this excuse is just stupid. in fact, time just serves to prove that it is a scam. Not only do they not deliver on their promises, but when they actually deliver something, it's not what they asked money for.

The whole SC community (aka people like you) likes to spam "You got ~something~ so shut up. If you complain you are not a ~true fan~, just a hater."

what game? you like a tech demo, not a game. don't confuse the two.
The hours spent and the enjoyment had/experienced exceeds that of any game previously played except maybe modern warfare 2.... those were happy days.

But if people are too daft to read the warnings... what am I supposed to do *subject to change* is everywhere. Maybe being a person with 'adult money' doesn't require the intelligence it should bring with it...

But hey. I'm all good over here

Oh my day will.be fantastic. I'm thoroughly enjoying the game you hate so much and can't understand why
legally by Chris Roberts's own words and CIg there is no game. It is an alpha product. For the ships I own after years I have no gameplay for them. they are dead ships. I feel burned by the constellation Phoenix and star fairer as well.

star citizen isn't even a full mmorpg. Star citizen alpha for example does not work like other mmorpgs. If really wanted to I could write a list of things why star citizen in its current form is not an MMORPG yet. .

890 jump is that redline where I say no more. I don't want to wait another 10 years or 2 years sq42 or mmorpg that might fail and questionable sever meshing tech. Star Citizen isn't worth the harassment I get.

You feel burned by 2 ships that are literally months away from getting their gameplay put in place? Refuelling and refining, followed by Taxi missions for the Phoenix early next year.

I see patience isn't your strong suit. Just jumping and stamping until you get what you want? Children do that.... they also make impulsive decisions without doing the research

Why can't you use the 890j for exploration??

Your experiences with star citizen is different from mine. I am origin owner and origin ships aren't what was advertised. If Chris Roberts can't deliver on pleadge promise what makes you think . Chris Roberts can finished a mmorpg and sq42, Again the harsssment I get over star citizen is worth it.
