STOP 0x000000ED UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME

During the boot up process I get the error message blue screen, STOP 0x000000ED UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME.

Some history Customer brought his computer to me complaing that his computer would not boot, During boot up attemps it fail due to a fan error. So I replaced the fan and now I am getting the above error message. I should note that current ide cable is a 80pin cable

any ideas
