Strange Error

  1. I was looking in my event viewer and saw this error which had just happened...

"The master browser has received a server announcement from the computer PC1 that believes that it is the master browser for the domain on transport NetBT_Tcpip_{F633782E-5C5D-476D-. The master browser is stopping or an election is being forced."

PC1 is my parents computer, its running Server 2003 reconfigured partially to be a desktop OS(Changed a bunch of the settings to make it basically Windows XP)

The election the message refers to is the default mechanism windows uses to search for all the computers on the Lan by name. It's function is to determine which computer will be the master browser for the lan.If all the computers can be seen and are seen this election stops. If it not stopping once it could be because all the computers do not have the same protocols set.
