Suggestions on what printer/scanner/copier to buy?

Hello all,
Not exactly a PC question, but I'm looking to buy an affordable printer/scanner/copier and could use some suggestions.

The only thing is that it would need to be used in an office setting where at times it would be running as a stand-alone as a copier (But I would indeed like to be able to hook it to a PC at times). The only other requirement I have is the ability to do resizing for copying when in standalone mode.

Are there any affordable units that anyone knows about that could be appropriate for this situation?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!!!

Have a look at the all-in-ones from Brother:

Even their cheapest model has a memory card-reader and can do resizing.

Things to look for, are individual colour ink tanks, i.e. separate cyan,magenta and yellow.
So stay away from crappy, extremely ink-expensive Dell/Lexmark.

I would definately consider Canons. I have had 3 and all were great.

I agree. Canon`s are great printers and the ink cartridges don`t cost an arm or a leg either.

Yep, I forgot about the Canon Pixma MP-series.
I do agree with Canon quality (I've got a Canon Pixma IP4000).
