Symantec Email Proxy Error

Hi guys,

I m getting symantec email proxy error. it says tht your mail messege is not send while i m not trying to send anything at all. please help me.

Some application is attemping outbound email. Does your email work correctly
when you try to Get New Mail and Send mail?

Likely someone here will tell you to Uninstall Norton and use something else.
(hint AVG7.5 Anti-Malware has email filtering).

I've taken this path also, but then reinstalled Norton Utilities to get
WinDoctor application.

Edit: This tool will remove ALL norton products

Hi sorry for late reply but i dont have norton anti-virus. i have symantec anti-virus. can u tell me wht should i do? One more thing i noticed is it didnt give me this error until i started using internet. if i dont use internet thn its good but as soon as i start using internet it started poping this error alot.
Please help me

Hello and welcome to Techspot.

I recommend you get rid of Symantec/Norton and use one of the free antivirus and firewall programmes below.

If you have any proiblems in uninstalling Symantec/Norton, see this thread HERE.

AVG free or Avast antivirus programmes.

Zonealarm or Kerio free firewall programmes.

If you still have problems after that, please post back.
