I hope I am in the right spot. I am having these funny system alert pop ups. There is a circle in the system tray that flashes back and forth with a question mark in it. I have begun the preliminary removal instructions and have gotten this log from hijackthis.
one system alert just says there has been virus activities detected. The others have a triangle with and ! in the middle that gives names, such as psw.x-vir or trojan.win32@mx or it says there are malware threats. If I select the alert it will take me to a website to download a virus scanner. Please help.
