Hi everyone. I have an extremely annoying problem with my computer. For some reason it is running really slow. When ever i send a file or folder to the recycle bin the system hangs for over a minute and the same thing happens when i try to rename something or create a new folder. It can also sometimes do this when i save a wordpad document. Ive tried everything to speed it up including defraging my hard drive, cleaning all the junk files off my hdd, scanning for viruses and removing adware and spyware with no effect. I have also been getting alot of BSoD`s and windows locks up when it restarts. Sometimes when the computer locks up and i input anything into the computer such as moving the mouse the system just makes strange ticking noises.

So i really need to know if anyone knows what is wrong with it and how to fix it.

These are my system specs:

CPU: Intel Celeron MMX 533MHZ
RAM: 192MB SDRAM
OS: Windows 98 Second Edition
Video: 8MB SiS 6326 AGP 2X
HDD: 10GB Seagate ST310014ACE

Thanks, Nissanman
