Ok Guys hope you can help me with this one. I hope its in the rigth spot.

I have been building my own PC and ran into some problems.
I purchased the ASUS P5 W Deluxe motherboard.
I purchased th intel core 2 duo processor running at 2.13Ghz
Its got 1 GB of RAM
I like to backup movies that I purchase. Its taking way too long to copy them.
l tried to do a backup using dvd shrink and Any DVD it took 1 hour 22 minutes to backup. Using nere I tried creating a copy of the backup and it took 1 hour 12 seconds. My master drive is an HP DVD940i internal 18X Super Multi DVD Writer. My Slave drive is a Sony DVD/CD Rewritable Drive DRU-830A drive, also 18X. Let me know if you need anymore info.

My specs are posted below

I use Any DVD, DVD Shrink 3.2 and DVD Decrypter with an NEC Combo 8X Burner. I can burn a standard widescreen DVD movie in about 40 minutes. Has this system always been slow? Are your CD/DVD writers set in DMA mode?

I just built the system so I cant say it has always been slow. Im only comparing it to another PC Sony Vaio that I purchased. How can I set my drivves to DMA mode?

Also if you use DVD Shrink and AnyDVD why do you need DVD Decrytor?
