Hi, talking about XP Pro...
the point I'm describing is a mistery for me... really hope, after several trials that for someone there will be a clear idea about the case...
suddenly, ten days ago the task manager appeared without any window: just the Applications window... disappeared all other windows, I can't select Processes, Performances, Lan, Users... also the upper part with blue bar disappeared... included the red cross to click to close the utility (!?!)... I can just open it with Ctrl+Alt+Del, and close it with Alt+F4... actually the Processes window is running, I can see it from Notify area on right corner of the screen... but no way to unlock this display.
Tried to copy files from other pc (taskman and taskmagr exe) and paste in the same dir: system32 and Windows (only can't undertsand which is the right dir for SoftwareDistributionDownload...) but no effects.
Who can help me?
