Task Manager problem

Hello. I am having a problem and would appreciate any input. My Task Manager will not open with control alt delete, or from the toolbar. I had to copy it to my desktop along with regedit to access.. I ran spybot and my virobot and removed a couple things, but still no task mgr. My limewire also keeps pooping up even after i close it numerous times. Any ideas??? Thank you in advance.

Ok done. Still same probs. I finally gave up and went to reformat and my recovery disc will not work now. I have sent for a quick restore cd that compaq tells me will fix all my problems for a low $22.65. I have always had limewire and never had a prob with it. I will cross my fingers and pray the disc works. Thanks P

I`m sorry no-one came up with a better solution to your problems.It looked like something that should have been fixable.
