Hi, I was asked by my friends Dad last night to take a look at his PC as he has a problem with the taskbar.
When he minimizes programmes they disappear and don’t show up on the taskbar, they are still running as they appear in the task manager. After I had a play with some of the settings it seems that this might be related to the quick launch icons. When the quick launch buttons are removed the taskbar disappears all together. When I unlocked the toolbar I noticed that one of the spacers for the quick launch icons is missing (the one on the right).
Has anyone heard of this kind of thing before or have any suggestions as to how to fix it?
