Testing a refurbed video card

Hello all, :wave: this is my first post. I recently bought a refurbed ATI radeon A-I-W 9800 pro from newegg. I only have 15 days to return it if defective. How can fully test the card to be sure it is 100% ok? So far it seems fine. I ran aquamark 05 (demo) on it and scored 2400. I don't know how the score translates. The card came barebone so I can't test the DVD capability(no software). I also need advice on cooling this card. I've read how hot it gets and how the stock fan is CR*P.
