Text color issue used with dark mode

I'm not sure if it's an issue with the website or an issue with the authors when they write and post their stories.

I haven't been going through a lot of stories, but I've been noticing at the very start with "Editor's take:" the text in that paragraph while in dark mode is a dark grey and very hard to see, let alone read. See picture below:

I see the same as you but when in forum mode it is fine. I usually don't use dark mode so I would never have noticed.

I found another example of this in the related links section (see the bottom of the screenshot):

EDIT: It's happening on desktop as well and the problem is inline element styles are being utilized. Perhaps replace it with something using classes and CSS selectors like the following?

<a class="highlighted" href="https://www.techspot.com/news/92294-hp-black-friday-sale-deep-discounts-laptops.html" target="_blank">
    <h3>HP's Black Friday sale: Deep discounts on laptops, PCs, monitors &amp; more</h3>
    <div class="intro">HP’s Black Friday sale is in full swing, and we’ve singled out our favorite deals. Whether it’s a new laptop, desktop, monitor or input device, HP likely has something to meet your needs at a great price.</div>
    <div><img src="https://static.techspot.com/images2/news/bigimage/2021/11/2021-11-21-image-6.jpg" class="intro-image" width="2000" height="1125" alt="HP's Black Friday sale is here, with deep discounts on laptops, desktops, monitors and more"></div>
<style type="text/css">
.highlighted h3 {
    color: #f00;
    font-size: 1.15em;

.highlighted .intro {
    font-size: 0.85em;
    padding: 15px 0;
    color: #333;
    line-height: 1.5;

body.dark .highlighted .intro {
    color: #ccc;
