the best driver

please i have a GeForce 7800 GT i want to know ,what driver is better for it..,,,
and why ,with the adapters for VGA the image is purple , and when i try in my DVI monitor is ok,

okay, the best driver would be the latest in my opinion, unless you are using dual core cpu, then I think the 78xx drivers are much more stable.

as for the color distortion, maybe your vga is broken. You should check to see if there is bent or missing pins. If not, then you may need to replace the card as the vga connector maybe broken/
