The first of many builds.

Hello all,
Well i am planning on building me a decent mid range rig for around 700$. I have done extensive research and have found the parts that i believe will be perfect for me. The only issue i have with this is that i dont know if these parts will be good for one another. Considering this is my first build, i dont really know what works with what and i dont want to run the risk of frying something. So here is what i got picked out:

Lite-On LH-20A1P SuperAllwrite DVD Burner
Ultra X-Blaster Black ATX Mid-Tower Case
ASUS M2R32-MVP ATX Motherboard
Western Digital Caviar SE16 WD2500KSRTL 250GB Hard Drive
Corsair Dual Channel TWINX 2048MB PC6400 DDR2 800MHz RAM
EVGA 256-P2-N615-TX GeForce 7600GT Video Card
AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+ Brisbane 2.6GHz CPU
Rosewill Stallion Series RD500-2-DB ATX V2.2 500W PSU

That should be all i need to get it started. Need anymore information on it let me know!

Looks good to me, let us know how it goes.

Only thing I dont like much is the psu, keep an eye on it, let us know what your voltages are after you boot and all that good stuff. GL

supersmashbrada! ha man i love that game..anyway, whats wrong with the psu? not enough power for everything? or is it just a bad brand? well if any recommendations please let me know ok..

Thermaltake, Antec, one of those more popular brands I would have chosen for your setup. I personally havnt had success with Rosewill, but I hope that you will.
