Is pci dying? I have yet to see high end sound cards be something else rather than pci and most new mobos are beginning to lack pci slots or the space reserved for pci is swallowed up by massive high end graphics card
i have a pci capture card with rca and s-video 4-pin inputs and it works almost flawlessly on my computer with perfect A/V sync. I wouldnt want to dish out more money for a tv tuner with a pci-e (1x,4x)interface.
I really dont trust ATi's AIW
or is it time for a new motherboard form factor?

most new motherboards include at least 1 or 2 pci slots for legacy purposes. Heck, I still use my soundblaster live card - works great.
