The sims life stories wont play because of game card incompatibility

ive installed directx 9.0c. my processor is: intel pentium dual cpu t2310 @ 1.46ghz

memory: 2038mb ram

whenever i click on my game, it says; "make sure directx is installed and game cards from the manufacturer." something like that. i dont know what to do, help

It appears that your graphics is inadequate and unsupported by the game. If this is a laptop, you are probably out of luck as far as upgrading your graphics. If so, you will have to play your game on another computer, not this one.
