Time stamps out of sync with Domain Controllers??

What I am looking for is more information on time stamps and synchronization with the Domain Controllers and problems that are associated with the times being out of sync. For example. If the time on a clients desktop is out of sync with the domain controllers what are some of the major issues that I am going to run in to? Other than authentication issues with Windows 2000 machines. What would be the best way to resolve these issues?
