Too many programs at Start up...

When I reboot my computer I have all these programs loading that I don't use much at all. I have tried to stop them from loading, but the next time I load they start up again!

I have a HP Pavilion and would also like to stop ORGANIZE from starting up. Any suggestions?

I tried to stop Organize from loading and kept getting an error message when I rebooted, so I enabled it again.

I don't want anything to load except Windows and my virus program.

Thanks for any help you can give me.

Go to add remove programmes in your control panel and uninstall anything you don`t need or use, then reboot your system.

Then click start/run and type msconfig into the run box and press the enter key.

Click on the startup tab and uncheck(disable) anything you don`t want to start when Windows starts. Click apply/ok. You will be prompted to reboot your computer. Once your system has rebooted, you will see a window that says you have used msconfig to make changes etc. Tick the box that says not to run msconfig the next time you start your system and click ok.

Regards Howard :)
