My noc32 anty-virus has detected an infection called wauldcdt.exe
and win32/PSW.QQPass.JF.

Im keeping them cornered between my Mcafee anty virus and my nod32
antyvirus. Unfortunately i think i was allready infected wen i installed them. the infection is stuck in a system restore file. An the computer is telling me acces denied wenever i try to acces my C:\System Volume Iinformation Folder.

A couple of months ago i formatted and yet i recognized the wauldt
malware still running on my system.

I am almost running out of options....

Thanks in advance for any assistence given...

The infection in your restore point is not harmful as long as you don`t use that restore point. Turning off, then on system restore will delete all restore points and create a new clean restore point. However, until we know that your system is clean, I don`t recommend you do this yet.

Go and read the Viruses/Spyware/Malware, preliminary removal instructions. Follow all the instructions exactly.

Post fresh HJT, AVG Antispyware and Combofix logs as Attachments into this thread, only after doing the above.

Also, let me know the results of the Panda Antirootkit scan.

Regards Howard :)

Understood , i've allready started downloading all the softwares requested by
your guide.

I'll keep in mind to post the results of the panda scan.
