trying to get info on access denied HD

hello everyone

yesterday i went to run on my computer, then it started loading windows xp, then i received the "blue screen of death" saying fatal error blah blah blah

then i decided to take out the HD and put it into another computer, acting as the 2nd hard drive. While accessing the first, regular hard drive, i tried to get into my files on the 2nd hard drive, and because its password protected, it just said "access denied" so it would not let me access my files.

anyone have any ideas of how to get my stuff off my 2nd hd?

Do you know the password, or is this "password protected" status an error?

Is it not possible to run a Windows XP CD in the "REPAIR" mode on the problem hard drive, or do you have knowledge that hard drive is bad?

You need to take ownership of the files on your hard drive. See HERE for more info.
